Hi, I'm Lea. I spent 25 years finding the right words on the worst days.

War correspondent. Air Force veteran. FEMA instructor. I train teams to communicate when it counts, and I speak on crisis communication and AI. My playbook also lives inside Steady, an AI advisor you can talk to right now.

From the Frontlines to the Founder's Desk

Lea's feature in the July 2026 issue of Sheconomy Magazine explains why trust just became the most valuable currency in business, and why she built Steady.

“Trust is not something you defend in the moment. It is something you build before the moment arrives.”

Lea Greene, Sheconomy Magazine, July 2026

A May 2026 Gartner survey found only 60 percent of consumers now trust big brands, down from 70 in 2021. Small businesses have the one asset that is appreciating.

Quoted in Forbes

Lea's crisis communication guidance was featured in Forbes coverage of the 2025 Texas floods.

“Document and practice protocols regularly. Do not assume ‘someone will handle it.’”

Lea Greene in Forbes, July 2025

She also pressed businesses to build in redundancy: “Do not rely on a single method (text, email, app alerts). Systems can fail, and not all employees or customers will be reachable on one platform.”

Goal delivery

In Lea’s first AI Advantage cohort with the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce, one business (Northdale Oil) cut a weekly dispatch task from 48-60 hours down to under 8 after applying what she taught.

Meet Lea

I'm not a consultant in a glass tower. I'm a mom on a hobby farm in North Dakota with a petting-zoo-worthy lineup of animals and two decades of military public affairs behind me. I've briefed generals, stood in front of the world's press, and written the statements nobody ever wants to write.

Here's what all of it taught me: bad news ages like hot garbage, and panic writes terrible sentences. Now I teach teams how to handle both, and how to use AI without losing the human touch.

Don't react. Act.

See it for yourself

See what I teach, built.

Steady is my crisis communication method, built as an AI advisor. I show it to teams in every workshop. Ask it about the situation your team worries about most. The first messages are free, no signup.

The methodology behind Steady.

Steady is the tool you reach for when the moment arrives. Don't React, Act is the methodology you internalize before it does: the same ten-step framework, in book form, from Lea Greene's twenty-five years in public affairs.

Read the book to build the muscle. Talk to Steady when you need the words.
